Here is an article on using protest finds and politically charged objects as part of a "rapid-response collecting" system in museums. Interesting idea to keep museums fresh for the collective short-term memory, but perhaps cheapens or waters down the purpose of housing art in official institutions? Can't we regard this stuff anywhere?
