Stop Liking Your Instagram Photos

I joined Instagram 63 weeks ago and have posted 48 photos in that time. In that short period not once have I felt compelled to “like” my own photo. The same, however, cannot be said of the friends, friends of friends, and potential baes who populate my timeline.

Please, I beg of you: STOP LIKING YOUR OWN PHOTOS.

It’s absolutely ludicrous. Why is liking your own photos ludicrous, Jason?

BECAUSE YOU POSTED THE PHOTO TO INSTAGRAM, NOT SMART PERSON. OBVIOUSLY YOU LIKE THE PHOTO. Unless, that is, you’re in the business of sharing terrible photos for the fun of it.

Stop liking your poorly filtered pictures. Leave that decision to your followers.
