The New York employees of Gawker Media are offered complementary breakfast on Mondays, but because this past Monday was Labor Day, there is no breakfast this week, despite Tuesday being the functional Monday for the worker.

So, my question is: Is honoring our labor with a holiday worth it if it directly results in a loss of nourishment?
