Why ask, since the show hasn't been on the air (except for syndicated reruns) since 2004? Are you just NOW getting around to watching it, ten years after new episodes stopped?

The best you can say for the show is that the acting isn't bad. It is not funny.

The acting is much better than "not bad"—Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston are two of the best comic actresses of that whole decade—and the scripts are tight and well-written.

I'll agree that the scripts are well-written and tight, they're just not funny.
I'm not arguing with someone who thinks that Friends scripts are "well-written" but not "funny."

I think an unfunny script can be "well-written" in that it keeps the general tone and storyline of a show consistent and tight.
Well this is a side conversation at any rate. The jokes are funny.
