I am curious, and in the mood for some kind of loud property-damage-filled epic, but also wary.

It's fun and weird and really beautifully designed but I think I went in with too-high expectations.

The 90% of it that I absolutely hated was more than worth the 10% that I absolutely loved. Basically for the same reasons as what Max said. There is a point where the whole movie abruptly changes tone and becomes amazing.
