Apparently there's a dead cockroach in the office between Jezebel and
Kotaku. That's just the report I got, though, I'm not sure. I don't wanna go look at it.

Do you guys need me to come by and show you what to do about roach infestations?
YES. Or just share tips here?
Of course! (Actually I'm at my office today so is easier for me to leave tips.)
Okay, the three things you want to know about with roaches are:
The motels are the least labor intensive of the bunch; get a few packs of them and scatter them in the corners of the office, including and especially in and around the kitchenette. Try to enforce a 'last one out of the tabledesk throws away all trash' policy for each site desk. Also try to dry out the kitchen sink in the evenings and not leave any cups with liquid out; roaches need food and water to survive. (Roaches! They're just like us! Except way more tenacious.)
The sprays work well but are highly toxic to humans and animals.
Boric acid sounds scary but it's actually non-toxic to humans. It's a powder which you'll sprinkle around the perimeter of the office in a very low pile. If you pile it too high the roaches will just walk around it. (Like I said, they're tenacious!)
Okay, I gotta run to a meeting so more later but this should be a good start. Just let me know who to invoice for this ;) xxJK
Thank you. Invoice max@gawker.com
Steampunk warehouse spaces are notorious roach sanctuaries. I'd recommend moving to a slick, modern office of glass, steel and concrete or Trump Tower.
It's still there.
Should I swing by after work and clean it up?
Now it's gone. I hear Erin Ryan cleaned it up. Brave hero.
EGR is a lady and a hero.
True!
Unfortunately this means she'll never get her own movie though...

G'night, folks!
It is there. It's on its back. Its thorax is bashed in and one antenna is sticking up vertically. It's fucked up and now more roaches are going to come and eat it I just know it.
There, there little bird. It will be okay.
You should take a broom and
oh no, looks like he got roach-napped.
