Fucking crazy that a bus that charges like $3 for interstate fare might be total shit. Blow me the hell away.
article says no
I rode a Peter Pan up to Providence last year and the whole bus smelled like a bus bathroom the entire ride. I mean, at least it didn't break down?
They're cheaper than the train though.
The bus company didn't invest in the bathroom deodorants. There are really heavy duty ones that can cover up that smell. AND they didn't "flush" the tanks when they have a chance, apparently.
Your title is incorrect.
You're correct, but a fake-patina'd, stanced 23-window is an abomination.
How can you tell it's fake?
What's wrong with it being lowered?
Ride height? Personal preference. When they're slammed, they generally ride much worse than at stock (or nearly stock) height, and I hate the look. Depending on the skill of the builder, it can be butchery or done in a manner that restoring to original height isn't too much cost & effort. Unfortunately, there's a preponderance of hack jobs.
That doesn't look like actual age/wear on the paint - it appears to be intentionally distressed. Go to a bunch of VW meets, rat rod shows, or any number of old car events - you'll see examples of real patina in original/unrestored vehicles, and faked patina. It's not that hard to tell after you've seen plenty of each.
I lowered my aircooled, quite a bit actually. An hour or so or you're back to perfectly stock. Less if you have a lift.
Megabus is bad. Greyhound is better.
No, cars are better. Like, way better. In every conceivable way.
