This video is pure bliss. I watched it so, so many times yesterday. Today was the hottest day of the year where I live, windless and blistering, and last night it was too hot to sleep. About 4 in the morning, I was drenched in just enough frustration sweat to calculate that I could bike to the lake and back before dawn. I thank this video for inspiration, and for the wet, cool, predawn pajamapantless bike ride home. ahhh soh coooolll

A village on the North shore of Lake Erie, in the Inner Bay of Long Point. It's really quite lovely here. There aren't too many places in the world with pristine sandy beaches with no one on them, so close to cities. I am very lucky. But I am 2 hours by car from decent sushi and I just have the bike and the rowboat, so at least there's that to complain about :)

Especially when he/she hits the water at the end.
